Quality control

To ensure the highest efficiency and quality, we see it as our responsibility to ensure that all our employees feel able and prepared to undertake the various tasks. All our staff are therefore offered detailed and complementary courses before they get the opportunity to work directly with our products.

All our products are immediately transferred to the cooling / cold storage as soon as the orders are prepared and ready for delivery. The completed orders are then loaded into truck, container or plane depending on the agreements made with each individual customer. We can thus guarantee a safe and unbroken cold/freeze chain throughout the complete process. 


Our modern production equipment and quality control systems have been approved by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority in accordance to quality regulations for fish and seafood products (HACCP).

High quality requirements for raw materials and years of experience in traditional Norwegian processing methods. This is something that characterizes Brødr. Remø, and makes it possible to achieve the desired quality. Several prizes have been awarded our products for exactly this reason.

We ensure that our products leave our premises with the highest possible quality. This is achieved by following strict quality control system and regulations through all the different parts of the process until the product is received by our customers.

Removing the risk of contamination is high priority within the food industry. At Brødr. Remø we have developed control rutines to further reduce this risk. Production equipment, raw materials, finished products, etc. all undergoes regular laboratory tests to ensure hygienic and contamination-free environment.
